Live Surgery Seminar for Audiologists

The Otology and Skull Base Surgery Department at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney run a one day course each year comprising of live surgery and interactive lectures aimed at audiologists. The faculty are A/P Nigel Biggs, Dr Philip Chang, Dr Sean Flanagan and Dr Timothy Matthews, as well as our excellent team of nursing staff and anaesthetists and AV team. It is an excellent opportunity to gain an insight into the surgical and non-surgical management of complex ear pathology in a collegiate atmosphere.We encourage in person attendance to optimise a collegiate interaction but virtual registration is also availabiity to allow flexibility.

 The 2025 course was held on the 13th November with live surgeries including an endoscopic tympanoplasty, exostectomy and a cochlear implant.
